We sell products directly to customers from our own warehouse – so we are not another dropshipping company. The Purple Monday  is a dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce company dedicated to providing high-quality products. We work in +10 countries in Europe and daily work with several concepts within E-com with a focus on products for kids and families.

Position Overview as E-Commerce Full-Stack Developer

We are currently searching for a talented and enthusiastic Full-Stack Developer with flair for PHP to join our remote team. This can be a part time or full time position – we just need the right person. We offer the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong passion for web development, Fullstack expertise, and the drive to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you! We value individuals who are eager to learn and grow, and we will provide comprehensive onboarding to ensure your success. We build our e-coms into Opencart and Shopify.

Key responsibilities in this position

  • Collaborate with our team to design, develop, and maintain e-commerce websites using OpenCart. 
  • Customize and extend OpenCart functionalities to meet our clients’ specific requirements. 
  • Develop and optimize the front-end and back-end of OpenCart stores, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience. 
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other e-commerce tools. 
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, and provide timely and effective solutions. 
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest OpenCart updates and best practices.

Qualifications you need for this job

  • Proven experience as an OpenCart Full-Stack Developer with a portfolio of successful e-commerce projects. 
  • Experience with building and/or working with e-com.
  • Proficiency in OpenCart, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies. 
  • Experience with E-commerce / OpenCart theme development, custom module development, and extension integration. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
  • If you have a good eye, knowledge of design is an advantage (not a requirement)
  • If you have knowledge of Opencart or Shopify, it is an advantage (not a requirement)
