Position Overview as Email Deliverability Specialist

We’re in search of an experienced Email Deliverability Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a profound understanding of email marketing best practices, ISP regulations, and anti-spam laws to ensure exceptional deliverability rates and inbox placement.

Key responsibilities in this position

  • Monitor and oversee email deliverability metrics, including inbox placement rates, bounce rates, and sender reputation.
  • Devise strategies to enhance email deliverability, encompassing list hygiene, segmentation, and authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute email campaigns in adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Address deliverability challenges by troubleshooting issues such as spam complaints, blacklisting, and email authentication failures.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, ISP policy shifts, and emerging technologies to proactively tackle deliverability hurdles.
  • Conduct routine audits of email infrastructure and practices to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Offer guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders on email marketing strategies and tactics to boost deliverability.

Qualifications you need for this job

  • Demonstrated experience as an Email Deliverability Specialist or in a similar role, showcasing a robust track record of enhancing email deliverability and inbox placement.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, deliverability tools, and ISP protocols.
  • Familiarity with email authentication methods (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and their implementation.
  • Strong analytical prowess and the ability to decipher email deliverability metrics to drive actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with marketing, IT, and compliance teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with adept multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Certification in email deliverability (e.g., Return Path Certification) is advantageous.
