Position Overview as Email Marketing System Administrator

We’re currently looking for a proficient Email Marketing System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing and optimizing email marketing platforms to drive successful campaigns and enhance customer engagement.

Key responsibilities in this position

  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the email marketing system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage subscriber lists, segmentation, and email templates within the platform to support targeted and personalized campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop email marketing strategies and workflows aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor email deliverability and engagement metrics, analyze campaign performance, and implement improvements to optimize results.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and platform updates to continuously enhance email marketing efforts.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, liaise with support teams or vendors when necessary, and implement solutions to ensure seamless operation of the email marketing system.
  • Implement and enforce compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR requirements.
  • Provide training and support to internal users on email marketing system functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications you need for this job

  • Proven experience as an Email Marketing System Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong background in managing email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email template customization and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth understanding of email deliverability best practices, segmentation strategies, and marketing automation workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret email performance metrics to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM integration and marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Must possess your own PC and reliable internet connection.
