Position overview as Virtual Assistant with eCommerce Experience
The Virtual Assistant with eCommerce experience will be essential in managing various aspects of our online store, such as product listings, customer service, and order processing. You will collaborate directly with the CEO. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, proactive, and skilled at multitasking in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities in this position:
- Product Management: Create, update, and optimize product listings on eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce and Opencart). Manage product images, descriptions, prices, and inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and update product availability.
- Order Processing: Handle order fulfillment tasks, including processing, tracking shipments, and managing returns. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed. Ensure timely and accurate order delivery to customers. Responsible for contacting suppliers and business partners.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer support via email, chat, and phone. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints professionally. Assist with tracking orders and processing refunds or exchanges.
- Sales and Marketing Support: Support eCommerce marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media management, and PPC advertising. Contribute to SEO efforts by optimizing product listings and website content, and generate reports on business performance.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage and organize digital files, emails, and documents. Perform data entry, maintain accurate records, and analyze data from our CRM and eCommerce systems. Collaborate with team members, coordinate with other departments as needed, and support ongoing e-commerce tasks.
- Website Maintenance: Update website content, including product descriptions, promotions, and blog posts. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving website issues. Ensure website functionality and user experience are optimal.
Qualifications you need for this job:
- Proven experience in eCommerce, with a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce and Opencart.
- Proficiency in using eCommerce software, CRM systems, and relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Knowledge of marketing is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software.
