Key responsibilities in this position
- Craft tailor-made WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities aligned with client needs and design blueprints.
- Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to translate design mockups into fully operational websites using WordPress.
- Personalize and expand existing WordPress themes and plugins to fulfill project requirements and enhance performance.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality WordPress solutions.
- Optimize WordPress websites for swift loading, peak performance, and adherence to SEO best practices.
- Seamlessly integrate third-party APIs, services, and plugins to enrich website functionality as required.
- Keep abreast of the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and capabilities.
- Offer technical support and adept troubleshooting for WordPress websites, efficiently diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to deliver projects punctually and within budget.
- Communicate project progress, obstacles, and resolutions clearly to stakeholders, irrespective of their technical background.
Qualifications you need for this job
- Proven experience working with WordPress
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Extensive experience with API Integration
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Applicants will be required to complete a test job to assess their proficiency and understanding of the role.
