Position overview as SMS/Email Campaign Manager

As an SMS/Email Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing our SMS and email marketing campaigns. Your role will involve developing targeted messaging strategies, managing campaign performance, and ensuring that our communication efforts effectively engage and convert our audience. You will work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with our overall marketing goals and enhance customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive SMS and email marketing strategies that align with overall marketing objectives. Create targeted messaging to engage different segments of our audience.
  • Content Creation: Design and write compelling SMS and email content that drives action. Work with designers to create visually appealing templates and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of SMS and email campaigns, from planning and execution to monitoring and optimization. Manage campaign schedules, audience segmentation, and delivery.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI. Use data insights to make informed decisions and optimize future campaigns.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on various elements of SMS and email campaigns (e.g., subject lines, content, calls to action) to identify and implement best practices for improved performance.
  • List Management: Maintain and segment email and SMS lists to ensure accurate targeting. Manage data hygiene practices to keep lists clean and compliant with regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all SMS and email campaigns adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards, such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA. Implement best practices for data privacy and consent.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance and key metrics. Analyze trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings to the team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to integrate SMS and email campaigns with other marketing efforts. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and objectives.

Key Responsibilities in this position:

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing SMS and email marketing campaigns, with a strong track record of driving engagement and conversions.
  • Skills: Excellent copywriting and content creation skills. Strong analytical abilities to interpret campaign data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Tools: Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo) and SMS marketing tools. Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is preferred.
  • Creativity: Ability to develop creative and effective messaging strategies that resonate with the target audience.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.
